初めて九州に行った話 先日出張で数週間愛媛県へ行く機会がありました。 土日は暇なのでどこか観光したいなと思い、愛媛県内や香川県へうどんを食べに行ったりしました。 他にどこへ行こうかと地図を見ていた時、ふと気が付いてしまいました。 意外と九州近いのではということに、、、 高松へ行った際には、松山からリムジンバスで3時間程度でした。 八幡浜から別府まではフェリーで２時間５０分とのことで、もはや徳島などに遊びに行くよりも近い気分でした。 初めての九州として別府に降り立ったわけですが、別府温泉は入るよりも見る方がメインだということを初めて知りました。 感想としては想像通りという感じだったのですが、良い経験ができたと思います。 深夜にフェリーで出発すると、朝まで船内で寝かせてくれたりもしたので、四国で遊び場に困った際は九州まで足を延ばしてみても面白いかもしれません。 (フェリーにもそこそこ観光客が乗っていました！) Title: "My First Time in Kyushu" My First Time in Kyushu (With an eye-catching image of a hot spring!!) I recently had the opportunity to go to Ehime Prefecture on a business trip for several weeks. On the weekends, when I had time to spare, I felt the desire to sightsee somewhere, which led me to places within Ehime and to Kagawa Prefecture for udon. As I pondered where else to go, I was scanning the map when something struck me. To my surprise, Kyushu was rather close. When I went to Takamatsu, it was about a three-hour ride by limousine bus from Matsuyama. It was said that the ferry ride from Yawatahama to Beppu took about 2 hours and 50 minutes, making it feel closer than going to Tokushima for leisure. So, it was in Beppu that I first set foot in Kyushu. I learned for the first time that the main attraction of Beppu Hot Springs was not so much about bathing in them, but rather, looking at them. My impression was as I had imagined, but I believe it was a good experience. If you set off by ferry late at night, they even let you sleep aboard until morning. So, if you ever find yourself at a loss for where to go in Shikoku, you might consider stretching your legs all the way to Kyushu. (There were quite a few tourists on the ferry too!)
